Charice’s Attempted Suicide is a Hoax, Not True

From recently revealing her true identity on June 2 in ABS-CBN’s talk show The Buzz that she is a lesbian, the International Pop Sensation Charice Pempengco has yet again created a buzz over the media and the Internet.

On November 30, reports have circulated the Internet that the former Glee Star attempted suicide by slashing her wrist.

It was reported on TV5’s Saturday entertainment show Showbiz Police on November 30 that Charice’s suicide attempt was probably due to financial problems. The same reason was also confirmed by Charice’s grandmother Mrs. Teresita Relucio in an interview with Cristy Fermin in the said talk show, saying that the singer’s bank account had been cleared out.

The internet sensation’s fans were shocked by the news.

A day after, Charice disclosed her statement via social media site Twitter.

It was further confirmed that the suicide attempt was a hoax when Charice appeared on the ABS-CBN Sunday show ASAP18 alive and well.
