ABS-CBN Kapamilya posted on social networking site Twitter that Canadian Pop Star Justin Bieber is expected to be arriving in the Philippines some time next week.

It was later confirmed through the tweets of the Lifestyle Columnist of Manila Standard Harold Geronimo.

Geronimo’s reliable sources said that Bieber’s entourage wants to keep his arrival low-key since it is a relief operation so there is no official announcement yet. His source also confirmed that bookings have already been made and unless the party changes their mind, it’s a sure thing.

The singer’s anticipated arrival is in relation to him being able to raise money through a #GiveBackPhilippines campaign video in cooperation with Prizeo.com.

It was reported that he was able to solicit $400,000 in just one day after the campaign was released.

The said video (you can watch it here) was publicized on Wednesday, December 4 with the intent of providing help to the victims of super typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines.
