Miss Venezuela Maria Gabriela Isler was crowned the 2013 Miss Universe on Saturday.

The 25-year-old beauty queen beat out 86 other contestants, including first runner-up Miss Spain Patricia Yurena Rodriguez.

Miss Venezuela takes over the honor from last year’s winner, Olivia Culpo of USA.

Isler is a Venezuelan Fashion model and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Venezuela in 2012.

Her answer to Saturday night's interview portion of the competition shows strong will and confidence, when asked "What is your biggest fear and how do you plan to overcome it?

She answered, "We should overcome all our fears and this in turn would make us stronger". "As soon as we overcome our fears, we can face any challenge."

Miss Universe 2013 Gabriela Maria  has a degree in management and marketing.
