Rebecca Black is back with her new single imaginatively titled “Saturday”. And surely this is the day we’ve all been waiting after this American singer released her highly anticipated follow-up single to Internet-hate sensation “Friday.”
Black’s new single is more sophisticated than the widely known nonsense lyrics and limited range of freshman “Friday.” It tackles more mature themes like Black’s partying all night Black with her friends as compared to her first song’s theme of just consuming cereal on a Friday. The video is also filled with comic references which she admits in honor of Black Friday.
Watch the video and count the references you can spot. The YouTube singer most likely tries to break new ground with a song about each day in a week.
