While Mekong River is known to many strange creatures including the Mekong giant catfish, cantors giant softshell turtles, Siamese giant carp, freshwater dolphin and the Mekong River stingray, this living thing spotted in this popular river in the Southeast is still unknown. And reports say that this is the first time this creature is spotted at a closer distance.
The Mekong River is located in Southeast Asia with its headwaters in the Tibetan Plateau. The river flows approximately 4,900 kilometers and spans six countries including China, Myanmar, Lao People’s Democratic Republic (Laos), Kingdom of Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam.
