A portion of the video showed one of the mayor’s aide rushing towards Binay to hold an umbrella over him while he talked to the guards… even if the weather was fine that night.
It can be recalled that it was caught in a closed circuit television (CCTV) camera when the younger Binay allegedly ordered the arrest of 3 security guards of Dasmariñas Village when the latter stopped the former’s convoy in going out of the posh subdivision almost midnight of the 30th last month.
“The guards of Right Eight Security Inc. did not raise the iron barrier because vehicles are not allowed to pass through the gate after 10 p.m. for security reasons." Philippine Daily Inquirer reported.
This viral “umbrella at night” video is part of that CCTV footage which annoyed netizens due to alleged arrogance of the son of the Vice President of the Philippines.
Netizens questioned why the Mayor need for an umbrella when the weather was fine.
