It can be recalled that rumors regarding Prince Harry getting married to 18-month girlfriend Cressida Bonas circulated over the Internet late last month. But it was denied by Cressida’s half brother Jacobi Anstruther-Gough-Calthorpe in an interview with Evening Standard.
Calthorpe said that the engagement buzz is ludicrous and that he thinks that the media attention his sister is getting is a bit too much. "She's not a tough cookie at all," he says about Cressida. "She's a very sensitive, sweet girl." He continued:

"It's challenging, you can't deny it. It's not something that is easy for anyone dating a royal or marrying into the family or anyone in the royal family themselves. I think on some level it is different to any other type of fame. It's just an invasion of privacy, which is hard. I mean, there are people who court that, and it's a different mentality. But when you're not, and you have to spend your life hiding from it, I think that becomes very exhausting and quite hard work.”

However, sources told British magazine Grazia that Prince Harry has ostensibly asked Cressida’s father Jeffrey for her hand in marriage.
The royal and Jeffrey apparently met for the first time in a golf course at Cressida’s aunt Lady Charlotte Curzon’s home before the former went to a charity trip in Antarctica last month.
The source said that the two men “got on really well and enjoyed a few games of golf. Harry had ‘the chat’ with Jeffrey and tentatively asked for his daughter’s hand in marriage. Jeffrey gave his blessing for when the time is right”.
“It seems that Harry and Cressida have spoken about marriage. He wanted to do the honorable thing and meet her father to let Jeffrey know his intentions before he went to the South Pole.”, the source added.
“It’s always scary meeting your girlfriend’s father, but Harry knows how close Cressida is to her family. He wants to ensure they’re on-board for when they announce an engagement,” an insider explained.
Another source stated that the Palace is on stand-by for a royal engagement which might happen sooner than what everyone expects.
