Following last summer’s bombshell revelation that Simon Cowell is going to be a first-time dad, he is reportedly ready to settle down and already bought an engagement ring. At 54, Cowell was supposedly ready for an engagement proposal to Lauren Silverman, 36, who he got pregnant while she was still with her husband.
Lauren Silverman is due to give birth in February. In a recent interview, Simon Cowell told Ryan Seacrest, "Let's put it this way, I wouldn't expect her to be a single mother." It looks like Cowell is all set to make his proposal.
Cowell seems to be very much excited with the coming of his little one. He even admitted that a name was already picked out though they have yet to reveal it publicly along with the sex of the baby.

These things happen and everything is kind of calm now, and I'm happy," Cowell told Ellen DeGeneres. "I'm actually happier than I've ever been, he added.
