The Kindle Fire HD features an 8.9-inch 1920x1200, 254ppi display. It includes an HD front-facing camera, HDMI output, Bluetooth connectivity, and a laminated touch sensor for better visuals and 25-percent less glare. Under the hood, Amazon has dropped in a Texas Instruments OMAP 4470 processor.
Amazon Kindle Fire HDX is also on Black Friday shelves bearing $229 price tag. Kindle Firex HDX has 2.2GHz quad-core processor and 2GB of RAM for fast, fluid multi-tasking, gaming, and video.
If you're planning to get one, just a few note, the Kindle Fire HDX is among the newest versions of Amazon's popular tablet lineup, which was just updated a few months ago.
Bestbuy also placed Kindle Fire HD and HDX on its Black Friday deals with the same price of the Amazon offerings.
Microsoft also offers its Surface RT for $199 and Surface Pro for $699
